If Frank is somehow slower than that, guess who is on the podium Pfft

Nah

Emphasis very much on the 'somehow'. Would probably take a last kilometre crash

The sad part is that 75 % of all viewers probably has that opinion.

No excuses this year though, such a low amount of TT kilometres

How much did Andy lost on Evans in the decending to Gap? He lost the Tour there as well...

Andy wouldn't have attacked on Izoard if he was with Evans in Gap. Wink

He lost a minute. Half on the climb, half on the descent. With that minute he still wouldn't win the Tour

That's not doing justice to Evans. He is a completely different type of rider then Andy or say Contador. He can't make the big difference in the mountains, he has to score in the TT (which he did) and on hard finishes on steep hills or just after steep hills like in Tirreno. (and he showed it in the Tour again) He isn't a big champion (as in destroys the opposition), but he still wins the Tour. The old days are over, where you could win by 5-7 minutes ahead of your opponent. This means you have to play to your strengths. Evans managed to limit his losses in the mountains and so is the logical winner to me.

I would say that they should have a TT before each mountain range and let it be decided in the mountain.

+1

You don't know how much that means to me Pfft

What really is annoying now, is Voeckler kamikazeride yesterday, from the moment he was dropped of Contador/A. Schleck.

But I doubt he is unhappy Pfft

Mr. Schleck.

The route is drawn up, 21 stages. The tour can be lost anywhere. On a descent, on a climb, on the flat and yes, in a time trial.

No moaning.

Maybe that's the problm. He didn't recovered enogh after the 62km long attack on the stage to Galibier. However, I am happy Evans won after all his 2nd places. Schleck still have some years left. Grin
