I know, but it's unusual to see.
Wasn't fcancellara's message meant for Mresuperstar?
Well this is :
The top 3 of the Vuelta are simply in another level. 7 minutes to 4th place, 40 minutes to 10th! Normally I'd think the GC is gone, since the last stages aren't really hard, but if you keep employing the early attacks tactic which is working greatly so far and putting AC under pressure, I feel there's still chance for the Schlecks. Come on Frank and Andy!
Yes it was .
And I fully agree with lluuiiggii.

Vuelta a Espana Stage 18

Frank and Andy Schleck look to take down Contador today before it's to late.
Linus Gerdemann and Mauro Santambrogio
are the brave men that allowed away early.

They are followed by another group of 6,
Saxo Bank doesn't seem bothered.

Over today's first climb Gerdemann was gone solo. Is he crazy?

If he can pace himself he does have a slim chance,
he holds a 11 minute gap to the peloton.

By the third climb the gap grows to 15 minutes!

Stef Clement is next on the road a few minutes back.

Then two more breakaway riders in EBH and Tiago Jose Pinto Machado.

And right behind them are Eduard Vorganov and Marco Marcato.

Then comes orginal breakaway man Santambrogio now 10 minutes back.

Finally 5 minutes behind him is the peloton. Great day for the breakaway.

Jérémy Roy tries to get away now, but the peloton actually brings him back. The first thing they have done all day.

As he start the finally climb who else attacks but Andy Schleck.

After chasing for 5kms Contador kicks in pursuit himself.
This catches Frank offguard.

(Almost in another demension ...) Linus is over the final climb and is home free.

Conta has left all his chasers in the dust,
Andy now has the weight of Leopard-Trek on his shoulders.

The green jersey is over the top, but red is in the rear view mirror.

10kms to go, these two men now have to
deal with struggling breakaway riders.

Leopard-Trek gets a great surprise win from Gerdemann, outstanding solo ride. But the real race is 8kms down the road.

And now 5kms, Contador just can't close it up.

Stef Clement survives for 2nd and Edvald Boasson Hagen is seen taking 3rd. So no more time bonuses, as the croud explodes when they see Schleck and Conta heading to the line.

Andy Schleck holds off Alberto for 4th.

As Contador crosses the line you can hear yelling from Leopard team car. Andy and Alberto are given the same time! Team director Kim Andersen is in a full sprint towards the race organizers, but is held back by the security.
Pure Outrage!

What an amazing day for Linus Gerdermann, a totally dominant solo ride
But what were the organisers thinking about by giving the same time for Andy and Alberto, something not right here |

Vuelta a Espana Stage 19

Only 3 stages left, Andy Schleck is 42 seconds behind his goal.
Leopard-Trek are trying a new tatic, setting their own tempo.

And it's a extremely high pace, many riders aren't happy about this.

Then out of nowhere Leopard has created a major split.
6 Leopard-Trek riders and just Contador.

Yesturday's hero Gerdemann and Maxime Monfort
are working hard and grow the gap out to 2 minutes.

They have broken free by the next climb its pulled out to 6 minutes.
It's Contador Vs. Leopard for real now.

Back in the peloton Rodriguez and Sastre realize they have missed the move of the day. But it's too late for them.

At the sprint point Contador beats out Andy and Frank.
Alberto keeps looking around in panic mode.

And at one point he tries to lift the tempo to drop the Schlecks,
he is running out of ideas. No team to help him now.

On the first of two climbs up Alto El Vivero,
Andy starts Contador's long hell ride.

Conta keeps the three men together as we reach the top. The Vuelta now has turned into Schleck Vs. Contador. This is it!

Alberto wants help setting the pace ... (Is he crazy!)
Frank and Andy glare back.

Andy kicks on a downhill section, AC is all over it.

Then on the flat Andy tries again, Contador isn't having any of it.
Tough nut to crack.

Now as the road kicks up Andy Schleck is at it again.

This time Contador can't keep up ...

Andy Schleck has broke the elastic band, Contador is in trouble.

Over top, the Vuelta is now in Andy Schleck's hands!

Alberto gets his second wind on the downhill and starts pulling the green jersey back. Frank is doing everything to distract Conta.

I'm I dreaming, 1km to go.

The Impossible is Possible! Andy Schleck takes the Vuelta back!

Make it a double, Frank steals 2nd. Contador is struggling for air.

And don't forget about the hard work of the leopard boys,
4th and 5th to Fabian Wegmann and Maxime Monfort.

2 stages left, Andy Schleck is back in red.
