If they let him go, they're hypocrites because they enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy, but if they do suspend him, it will be incredibly controversial because of the scarce amount they found in his system. But still, they should get rid of him. Wink

The case is not about whether or not he should be suspended for the amount of Clenbutorol (as far as I am aware) but whether he unknowingly got the clenbutorol in his blood via a steak. If he indeed unknowingly got this small amount of clenbutorol in his system through a steak then he is not guilty of breaking the doping rules.

*I'm not stating whether he is guilty or not. Only outlining the case as I know it. Please correct me if I have misunderstood something.

Assuming a potential suspension will still run from the date he was caught testing positive, he'll probably not be suspended at all by the time they manage to cough up a decision on this...

Is this a joke? I mean that's ridiculous, He just have to find some new documents etc. and he can make them to change the date were the decision will be made until two years are over. So they will decide to suspense him in july 2012 (which means he wouldn't be supended at all) ! What a happy coincidence for Clentador Wink

Well I assume a ban would run from the date he got caught. Otherwise, if he got say 2 years, and got suspended from the day the verdict is in, he'd technically be banned for a lot longer, as he'd still get stripped of the 2010 TdF and probably all wins after that.

His ban will start from the day he stops racing.

According to CyclismActu, the reason for Fedrigo's bad season is Lyme disease.

I don't know how it is in France, but breaking the limit by almost 100km/h would grant you a prison sentence in Spain.

Alcohol yes, cocaine no.
A first test proved that he hadn`t taken any drugs except of 0.64 promille of alcohol.
