Still 2s. This stage is way harder than it looks like so guys like Meyer, Cooke or Cavendish are quite surprising there.

Yes, he was really tired in the end, but at least the absolute top sprinters like Cavendish and Bos didn't gain any time.

It was really much harder then I expected. I have played the 2010 version of this stage in my earlier careers, but it was not this hard.

Unfortunately the game crashed after the stage, but before the replay so I can just give you a short summary of the stage and a few screenshots.
Santos Tour Down Under - Stage 4 - Norwood > Strathalbyn

Another stage for the sprinters. Bennati will try to take some important bonus seconds before tomorrow's "queen stage".

The day's breakaway. Schär (BMC), Brown (Rabobank), Visconti (Farnese Vini), Traksel (Vacansoleil), Bodnar (Liquigas), Hondo (Lampre - ISD), Txurruka (Euskaltel), Bellis (SaxoBank - Sungard) and Kuschynski (Katusha). Later they was joined by Muravyev (Radioshack).

With 2 km to the finish Cavendish accelerated on the left side of the screen. Bennati did what he is used to: take Cav's wheel. On the other side Anthony Geslin of FDJ was surprisingly strong, matching Cavendish.

Bennati accelerated just after flamme rouge. Geslin was really strong and had a little advantage to Cavendish and Bennati, but Bennati was feeling good and easily passed Cavendish.

It ended up being really tight between Bennati and Geslin. Bennati just edged out the frenchman to take his second stage win in the TdU this year. Geslin finished on an amazing second place ahead of Cavendish. Davide Viganò once again finished in the top 10, another nice result for him.
Sorry, but I have no screenshot of Bennati celebrating his win. From now, I will take all screenshots during the race to avoid this.
No complete results either but I can give you a screen.

Overall

Bennati back in the ochre jersey, just in time for tomorrow's challenging stage. I hope he can keep it a bit longer this time.

Santos Tour Down Under - Stage 5 - McLaren Vale > Willunga

If this race has a queen stage then it is this one. This is the only stage in this race where it is not sure that a sprinter will take the win. Some riders might try to attack on Willunga Hill to get a solo win. We will certainly see some action on this stage.

The start in McLaren Vale earlier today.

The riders in todays breakaway were Kristoff (BMC), Krivtsov (AG2R), Löwik (Omega Pharma), Vaitkus (Astana) and Lequatre (Radioshack). They got a maximum advantage of 7 minutes.

At the foot of the first climb of Willunga Hill the gap was 4 minutes to the breakaway.

Kristoff took the mountain sprint ahead of Vaitkus and Lequatre. The peloton climbed the hill very fast and at the top the gap to the break was just 2' 30. The pace was so high that Bennati suffered quite a lot, but he had no problem staying in the group.

On the second climb of Willunga Hill Bennati started falling back. Anders Lund did a fantastic job helping him all the time, but the italian was really tired and had to fight to not lose contact with the group. Fuglsang was really strong, though, and was sitting in front of the peloton without any problems.

Up front Kristoff was losing contact with the other breakaway riders. The peloton was just 30 seconds back, though, so they were all caught just after the top.

The break held just over the top, Löwik won the mountain sprint ahead of Vaitkus and Lequatre. Vaitkus took enough KoM points today to take over the KoM jersey from Simon Clarke.

After fantastic work from Anders Lund, Bennati was back in front with 5 km left. He was a bit tired, but at least he would not lose any time today, except bonus seconds.

Lund felt great today (+3) so with 3 km left he hit the front with Fuglsang and Bennati on his wheel. This was a perfect lead-out, the only problem was that Bennati was getting more and more tired. Dumoulin was sitting on Bennati's wheel.

Under the 1 km to go banner Dumoulin launched with Marcato on his wheel. Bennati followed their slipstream. He was really tired, but he had a little energy left. Gerald Ciolek was side by side with Bennati.

Dumoulin takes the stage win ahead of Marcato. Bennati tried to pass the Vacansoleil rider, but he was a bit to tired. Bennati finished third, but the game decided to give the third place to Ciolek instead . Anyway, I'm happy that Bennati did this well. I had expected attacks on Willunga Hill, but no one even tried.

I think so too, the only thing that can stop now is a breakaway win or a crash.

Congrats. I failed twice with Hunter and Haussler to keep the overall when doing pace on that stage. You did it much better

Thanks roturn.
Santos Tour Down Under - Stage 6 - Adelaide Circuit Race

Favourites
Daniele Bennati
Mark Cavendish
Theo Bos
My tip
If it ends up in a mass sprint, nobody should be able to match Bennati. Cavendish and Bos has been best of the other sprinters, but they have never been really close to Bennati. This will be victory number three for Bennati.

The start of today's stage, a circuit around the city of Adelaide.

The break of today was formed after some kilometers. We decided to send Jakob Fuglsang there to try and get some bonus seconds from the intermediate sprints. The other riders in the break was: Iglinskiy (Astana), Kryvtsov (Farnese Vini - Neri Sottoli), Van Emden (Rabobank), Mori (Lampre - ISD), De Gendt (Vacansoleil), Hunt (Sky) and a bit surprisingly Levi Leipheimer (Radioshack).

It worked and Fuglsang easily took the first one ahead of Kryvtsov.

The peloton increased the pace and all breakaway riders were swepped up except Fuglsang, who just held on to take the second intermediate sprint and the bonus seconds.

With three kilometres left Posthuma was at the front to get Viganò and Bennati in a good position for the sprint. Fuglsang has started to get in good form and was actually sitting on Bennati's wheel.

With 2 km to the finish Viganò was in front. Just behind him was Bennati and Fuglsang. Cavendish, Bos and the other sprinters was nowhere to be seen.

Bennati accelerated with 1 km left. Still, no sign of Cavendish or Bos. On the right side of the road Dumoulin was accelerating from the back. Bozic and Renshaw was there too.

Bennati was never challenged, and took the stage win. Behind him Fuglsang managed to take second! This was a real sign of that the dane is in good form. The car tried to help Viganò to complete the podium, but Dumoulin just edged out the italian. But what a stage for Leopard!

What a great TdU this was for Leopard - Trek. Three stage wins, two jerseys and a 1-2 in both those classifications.
