After reading all the other nice stories around here I have decided to start one myself too. My choice is Leopard - Trek, because I like fighting in the top of the grand tours.
Database: 2010 Daily DB with lots of individual changes + 2011 teams and rosters.
Patch: 1.0.4.1
Difficulty: Hard
Evolution of attributes: 0.5
Team presentation coming up in a few minutes.

Because I like this DB, if I wait for the 2011 DB I have to edit all the stats again. Also, this DB includes the 2011 teams and rosters.

@roturn
First of all, thanks. Fränk will skip the Ardennes in favour for the Giro. I know that he is better than Andy in hill, but I want him to ride the Giro in top form.
I decided to just give you the results of the Australian Championships as there wasn't much action there.

Thank you. That is my goal, but I'm not sure I can do that because I suck on cobbles.

The Tour Down Under is the first WorldTour event of the season and it is a race for the sprinters, except stage 5 which goes over Willunga Hill where some riders might try to attack. Most riders will be out of form though, so there might be some surprises in this race.
Our squad
Jakob Fuglsang
Anders Lund
Daniele Bennati
Davide Viganò
Stuart O'Grady
Maxime Monfort
Joost Posthuma
Daniele Bennati will be our man for the sprints. Davide Viganò will be his leadout-man and Posthuma will start the sprint train. Fuglsang and Monfort will try their chances on Willunga Hill.
Favourites
Many top sprinters are here so this will be a challenge for Bennati. Cavendish, Bos, Haussler, Ciolek, Davis and Chicchi are just some of the big names who are here to try and grab some stage wins and try to survive Willunga Hill to take the overall.
Full startlist
Santos Tour Down Under - Stage 1 - Mawson Lakes > Angaston

This stage will no doubt end up in a mass sprint. I don't think a breakaway will make it today as this is the first real race of the season and all the sprinters want to win today.

Directly after the start in Mawson Lakes this group got away. It contained Iljo Keisse (Quickstep), Alfredo Balloni (Lampre - ISD), Simon Clarke (Astana), Chad Beyer (BMC), Wouter Mol (Vacansoleil - DCM) and Markel Irizar (Radioshack). They built up a lead of 8 minutes.

With 80 km left the gap was down to 6 minutes after Movistar and HTC - Highroad pulled up the pace in the pack.

The advantage continued to decrease after that more teams helped to keep the pace high. With 20 km left the pack could see the breakaway, who was still going with just 50 seconds advantage left.

With 2,5 km left Posthuma has put Viganò and Bennati in a perfect position for the sprint. They are to the right, in the middle it is Leezer leading out Bos, with Cavendish on Bos wheel.

Cavendish accelerates out of Bos wheel with 1,2 km to go and Bennati immediately followed his wheel. On the right it's Guardini who is looking strong too. With 700 m to go Bennati accelerates out of Cavendish slipstream and went past, is he going to win the stage?

Yes he is! What a great start of the season for the new team. Cavendish held on for second, while Bos just edged out Guardini for third. Haussler, Davis and Ciolek was nowhere to be seen in the sprint. They should be dissapointed with todays stage.
