These are extremely big files and difficult to upload without premium accounts etc.
A easy alternative is the torrent file. There you needn`t wait.
It will take about 2-3h but then you have it.

so do i only need to run link1? i have downloaded all the links, but only link1 is an application. the other cannot be recognized by my laptop for installation...
help please 
ok.... ive now read the instructions on the download.... i download all parts and only open the .exe one  i should read all the instructions before commenting... i will do that next time

It's 900 mb, so something is wrong.
Btw. Is it just for me that the files from MegaUpload downloades 6 times as fast as those from FileFactory? Or is it just the exe. that takes so long?

good for you. you can always download it from megaupload, instead of waiting. you'll get the full beta sooner that way.
@KenL: its because you can only dl one file at a time on megaupload and similar sites. Thats the catch to those sites, so that some people cave in and go for the membership.

I've downloaded all 8 parts of the full version to the same map.
I've installed the db by launching the exe file.
and when i start the game, it fails.
There are purple blocks and in a few moments the game stops.
my computer says: pro cycling manager don't works anymore.
i've deleted and installed everything 3 times again and still it doesn't work.
can anyone halp me please?? |

I have downloaded it via utorrent, but when I try to open the downloaded file nothing happens?
I have deleted it and tried again and restarted my computer. |

Goerres95: Make sure that you're installing the files to the correct folder. Open the installer and check that the installation folder is the correct one.
tj_durrant: If the installer doesn't open, it's likely that it's due to your anti-virus blocking it, your firewall or the fact that you may not have the needed rights. Try to right-click it and "Launch as admin" (or something like that).

Patience was the key.
I waited about ten minutes and it started to load after all!
Just finished installing.
Thanks for your help, and I am sure what is another great addition to the list of databse updates that we have been spolied with recently.

Great that you got it sorted.
It probably has to do with the size of the file. It may be wiser to do as I did with the MegaUpload versions -- split it into smaller files. That should make it easier / faster to load.
I'll keep that in mind for the final version.

I've stille the same problem.
but before the installation program starts i always get this sentence:
''this setup program was created using unregistered shareware version of Astrum Installwizard ans distribution of this program is stricktly forbidden. ''
is that a problem or not?
And, because i'm Dutch my program files pcm is called: Pro Cycling Manager - Seizoen 2010.
Is that ok? or do i have to change it to Season 2010? i thought mayby it was that. so i did, but it was still the same.
i don't now what to do..... |

The "Astrum Installwizard" thing is not a problem
You have to change the destination folder to whatever yours is. However, the install wizard may automatically add something to that destination folder - did you check?
Try opening Program Files/Cyanide/PCM and see if there's a folder called "PCM.daily's 2011 DB Public Beta" or something like that (not PCM.daily DB Backup - that's supposed to be there). If there is, open the folder and move all the content to Program Files/Cyanide/PCM.
Alternatively, make a search on your computer for e.g. 2011_c1_mergelland.cds. If your computer finds a file named that, open the folder of that file. If it's not Program Files/Cyanide/PCM/CM_Stages, it's installed in the wrong folder
