Yes but this is not a final solution... because if I reinstall the antivirus the problem appears again.

If you found the reason for your problem you should contact cyanide/focus and the producer of the Anti-Virus giving them all the facts so that they investigate. You should give the name and version of the AV to cyanide/focus.

riccoen i've got same prob, but i don't mind Pfft I regulary install virusscan and then deïnstal it Pfft

A different antivirus? I have this antivirus paid for two years, so I can't change it.

was that all you did? you just removed your antivirus? or did you do all the other things cyanide suggestede. I have avg for my anti virus and uninstalled to no effect i also turned off my windows firewall still get a pcm.exe error.

what else did you do?

Pcm 10 is so bugged that the anti virus programs think it´s a virus and prevent it from running, thats what I think happensSmile

Just remove antivirus, restart Windows and it goes. We will have to wait to first patch...

did it and it still did not work..im starting to think it is my computer and the new patch is not going to help, though everything exceeds minimum requirements.

Heh, my pc exceeds even the 'recommended' settings by far and should be able to run the game on highest detail effortlessly, but so far it crashes a lot on me when playing in 3d...

cyanide made a mess out of it imho.

Thats weird. I got almost minimum requirments and I'm on the 2nd highest 2nd highest setting.

I know, it just depends on what video card and what OS you are running

My PC runs games like Mass Effect 2 and COD Modern Warfare 2 on the highest possible settings without any problems.

But PCM 2010 runs like the French Team at the FIFA world cup Sad

similar problem with the free avg.
just added the main game directory and the doc one to the exception list of the antivirus and so far so good

Had the same problem and found quite interesting solution) Delete directory Videos in main directory))) It helped me, hope it's gonna be cure for you too
