Ah, yes Hoogerland. Top sprinter there! Certainly more worthy a mention than the likes of Ben Swift. Well done Cyclingnews!

They'll probably mention Swift as one of the mountain goats then

Coppel looks really different for some reason

I'm the only one who thinks that there is no reason for these comments above pictures?

His skin looks a lot whiter too. He must not have gone to the beach in a long time.
Also, the Saur logo on the jersey and helmet looks a bit weird

According to Cyclingnews, Juan Mauricio Soler has won the Spanish Championships. Impressive by him, being the best rider in another country.

Marc Madiot refused to reveal his list of riders to L’Equipe but the French newspaper believes Sandy Casar, Pierrick Fédrigo, Jérémy Roy, Anthony Roux, Rémi Pauriol and Yauheni Hutarovich are assured places. Other places could go to either Mickael Delage, Arnold Jeannesson, Remi Pauriol, Roy, Anthony Geslin, Jérémy Roux or Gianni Meersman.
Huh?

I'd never find this if I haven't read a Quick Step article:

Van Impe's got kinda hairy.
Rest in Peace Wouter Weylandt and Xavi Tondo

Roche criticised Gadret in the Irish Independent newspaper, admitting he felt like putting his window through the window of the team bus. However team manager Vincent Lavenu recently insisted the problems between the two were now in the past. Gadret and former mountain biker John-Christophe Péraud are expected to be important domestiques for Roche this year, as he targets a top ten overall in the Tour.

"But you also have guys like Evans and Basso and young riders like Van den Broeck and Gesink. Van den Broeck rode a very good Tour last year, he showed a lot of ability.” If Van den Broeck continues to make the same progress, “I think he may battle for the final victory."
It isn't fail by CyclingNews but.. this is complete fail by Bertie. Van den Broeck is 2 months younger than Contarope, he probably doesn't know that..

I've never understand this...this mistake seems to be made a lot by riders and media alike. I remember last year Andy Schleck suggested Van den Broeck was younger than him. It's hilarious to think that due to their ignorance, they're probably worrying about him more than they should be

It's U23... and the error is that he was 3rd. Phinney won the TT. |

So cyclingnews reports that Pim Lithgart has won the Dutch Championships. Despite being "The World's Leading Cycling Website" they apparently can't manage any picture of him other then one from a random TT.
More relevantly to their absurdity, read the first paragraph and look at the team that the guy who took third supposedly rides for.
