First snow of this winter. It started two nights ago and it still hasn't stopped.
Leaving the house on this kind of weather is a huge mistake. This is how my town looked this afternoon.

Be careful for what you wish
As a kid I loved the snow, but now I kinda hate it. It's very hard to walk trough it, especially at 7 a.m. when you have to walk pretty fast so you won't be late for school.
Also I don't even want to imagine how the streets will look like when all that snow will be melting.

Epic If we had 1/25 of that snow here our schools would be closed. No going to get my hopes up though
Although must be pain in ass walking everyday in so much snow.

Well. I need 2min to the University from my flat.
And most times in February I will be at home learning as it`s exam time at the moment.
But my wish was because at the moment it`s really cold but still rainy and so really mud weather.

Thats weird. I've had snow for over 3 months now
Its actually melting today though. Crazy weather!
I dont think that its been positive degrees in January, in a very long time.
Alex, make sure you take advantage of the snow by tying a garbage lid to the back of someones car with a rope. Its like wakeboarding
Disclaimer: Only do it, on quiet streets though

I think it's been like 7 years since the last time I saw any snow.

I'm also missing the snow. Started a little bit today, but only to stop again soon after it. It's been like that the whole winter here, which has resulted in the snow melting away during the plus degree hours in the middle of the day.
As a Swede, I'm pretty used to seeing lots of it during winter time. Therefore this winter has been a very unusual one, with almost no snow at all.

To be honest, I'd rather be the one who's driving the car. It's better to be in a warm place and watch the others as they are freezing outside.
And you've got to love our climate. During the summer we're boiling, during the winter we are freezing to death

After two crazy winters in the past two years, we've barely had minus degrees this winter. It's cold now, though, and I'm sure we will get some snow in February or March. Can't say I miss it, though. We had a horrible summer with lots of rain and cold temperatures, so the next summer can't come soon enough

We've not had any snow (well, hardly) yet at all this winter either, and I can't remember a winter without some period where there's snow on the ground. Boring
On an unrelated note, does anyone listen to the Velocast podcast? I've only just discovered it and am very impressed so far. Not sure how I've missed it.

Best comedy site ever:
www.cyclingrankin...
Guardini behind a dead guy in the 2011 ranking. Alright then. Meanwhile Sky's new young possible superstar, Henao is.....also behind a dead guy. But hey, surely Enrico Battaglin, the most impressive trainee I've ever seen in professional cycling and one of the world's top u-23s will b....nope, also behind the dead guy.
But none of that holds a candle to my personal favorite from the all-time ranking: Screw Marco Pantani, Patrick Sercu and Lucho Herrera. None of you are anywhere near as good as Markus Zberg or Michael Rogers.
GOLD JERRY! GOLD!
If you want to say 'the things science doesn't understand...that's god's hand', then - because the list of things science can't explain and that religious people attribute to god is constantly getting smaller and smaller - you've just defined your own god as a continuously receding pocket of ignorance.
That's about the most offensive thing you could possibly say about a religion. Yet people only ever claim it about their own religion. |

Man that site has Hinault in the 9th position in the all-time rankings. When you see that, you stop reading.

Jose Ivan Gutierrez came 20th in the Tour Down Under. Levi Leipheimer won the Tour de San Luis.
Same number of points. Sure...
Its a website not worthy of its URL name, for sure!

Can Google Chrome get a virus?
I keep getting notifications from Google Chrome warning me about pcmdaily.com because it has some stuff from roadcyclinguk.co.uk so its trying to warn me about malicious content that may be on the site.
But its a huge page.
(I'll take a pic once it comes back.)

Everything can get a virus. It just depends on how stupid the user is
