NOTE: Believe it or not, but my REAL dog had a procedure on friday and was suffering from this anaesthesia/narcosis the whole weekend. There's was simply no time (or joy) to do the reports, that I promised you Well, my dog is not a real Dark Dog, but he's still an important dog (It's still somehow funny, that a dog prevent this Dogs here from continuing the Giro, isn't it?) Expect the next updates from monday on! I'm still motivated after my break and even more after my awards
@baia, vangerner, sutty68: Thank you, guys! My dog did recover well! And, baia, I wish your picture would have been a reason for that, but, I'm sorry, this dog is so ugly But I appreciate your support, mate!
@Tuco: Thanks for kind words In my opinion, you should have got the storywriter-award though
So.. sorry for the delay of this next report! But here it is.. like I told you, there were narrow roads.. and, there's 2 screens of the day, because you had to wait a few days:
Oh oh.....
Look at the positive side.....maybe so peloton will let Duarte go for a break... but this will not be needed as i believe in Duarte and i´m sure he will crash them all at the mountains...
Great to hear that your dog is fine now.....,they are "just" our best friends...
Inside "she" is beautifull...
Nice pics btw...look great.

Always these damn hilly races, where Duarte has big disadvantages to other GC riders. Any chance of improvement in the hill skill? Probably not I guess.
@baia: Yeah, she's beautiful inside.. that's all what matters
@roturn: Duarte is maxed in both Mountain and Hill-stats! His 77 in HILL is not that bad, but still no chance against Cunego.. but the biggest problem was the blocking on narrow roads
@cunego59: Of course you like Cunego being in pink He looks strong enough to stay in pink til the end.. but the mountains will be crucial
Ruben Lampe doing Giro He'd be proud. BTW actually he's Ruben on our forums, more popular on CN forum as Dekker_Tiffosi
Anyway, damn stage. Cunego looks extraordinary, but I think he'll have a bad day in really tough mountains, and it's less than 2 minutes to Nibali in GC. Isn't as bad as it looked during the stage. Now let Duarte show what he can do in proper mountains

@roturn: Stupid narrow roads, yes, I totally agree
@sutty68: Once again.. agreed
@Alakagom: Yes, except of Cunego, this stage could have been much worse. But Cunego looks indeed very very strong, we have to hope for some weakness in final week, maybe.. and, yeah, I know about this Ruben-thing He even left a comment here in my story early in the season, so maybe he will notice his "alter ego" doing well here in this Giro
@Avin W.: Cunego is for sure the biggest favourite now. He's also a very good climber (82 or something), so if his shape keeps being that awesome, he will be tough to beat..
..here is stage 10.. a totally flat one..
Giro / Stage 10: Siena - Firenze
(Most important "happenings" already mentioned in the report ..)
