Phew...one down one to go
Nice win from Shapira, stayed calm.
Tough reporting this stage i'd say Count. At least the fall in the pack kept you awake

Given I don't speed up stages I'm reporting and obviously I have to be attentive the whole time.. it was a very long half hour.

Sarkisov made this stage to a podium place for Armavia, and given our expactations here, that's a fantastic achievement. (Even a top 10 is fantastic for us )
Once again, great reported CountArach and a very nice and deserved victory for Shapira

4th will do nicely. Nice report, when can we expect the finale?

AMEX took stage #5 to rest for the final stage. Unfortunately Zwizanski was held up by a crash but he does not appear to be hurt. None of the top GC contenders moved, so it will come down to the 6th and final stage.
The flat stage has given race leader Mancebo a rest and Kingspan will turn themselves inside out to get the race under control. It is going to be very hard for any rider to catch and overtake Mancebo.
AMEX's Tony Colby does not have the explosive attack capability to distance himself from Mancebo unless his legs get vey heavy. All AMEX can do is sent the Z-Boys (Zajicek & Zwizanski) to the front and have them grind a hot pace for as long as they can and then hope Mancebo cannot respond to a late attack. Very unlikely.
Little chance of a breakaway win as Kingspan and AMEX both have solid riders and the desire to chase them down. |

5th in the breakaway, 4th in the pack. Could've been worse.
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

Nice reporting of a stage that was probably uneventful for the most, but great win for Shapira.
His attacking riding throughout the season has finally paid off and made this race succesful for us all at Metinvest. Now i hope for Van Niekerk just defending his 10th spot, maybe rest of our riders trying to attack again.
Idan Shapira is nice prospect, we are aware that this win will make him wanted (looks at Bjartne). Our team is ready to do what will be best for Idan.

Hahaha, I see where you going Avin!
However we are determined to not reveal any information about our transfer prospects. There are a number of riders that have captured our attention, and we're allways looking to improve our squad, but it remains to see if Shapira is one of these

Too bad we couldn't put anyone in the breakaway, clearly Fabbri wasn't strong enough today, so even in case we caught the breakaway it probably would have been an useless work. And not happy to see Fajt working, he's our hope for a top 10 ffs.

Brilliant race for us and should see us hopefully extend the lead on the top 3rd and 10th on last stage is satisfying, making it 3 podiums for us here. But what's even better is 3rd and 6th on GC which should bring again some nice points along other smaller points.
Gratz to Kopfan, should win another big race coming too Kingspan doing well now suits us preety well too Looking forward to the rankings.

Bleh, no time gaps. Well done Strgar for getting 8th though. Overall not a good race for us, no presence in breakaways, weak GC hurted by a horrible TTT and no chance for Fabbri in the sprints, in spite of riding at home.
Good reports Count, I guess it's a bit disapponting that no one attacked in the last stage, but still it was a good read. Copngrats to all the winners, specially to Mancebo/kopfan.

Great rider that Wang Yip-Tang. As soon as he is called upon to deliver, he fails in every possible way. This race pretty much sucked. |

Congrats to Mancebo and Kingspan they controled the race and took home the win.
Tony Colby placed 2nd for the 2nd time this seasonshowing he has what it takes to be a serious threat for any of the D2 tours. We are hoping he is just coming into his best form and will give us two more strong performances in Clover Lowveld and the Tour of Utah. |

Very poor tour which I had very high hopes for. Why didn't one of Ciccarese or Laverde attack to get a second place. I though this could be my best chance for a stage race win.

Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes
Great stage race victory for Kingspan and Manebo was a dominant force, showing his superiority with "sprint" finish in final stage.
GC, Stage win, posiums and Points Jersey. All in all....quite satisfiactory.
Looking forward to updating media thread tomorrow
