I've just tested it - and I'll say again - I installed it fresh today with the same files as you.
I honestly don't know where you've gone wrong. 
Here's my first story with the new db. 
It's the TDU Stage 2. 
Fenian reaches stage 2 of the TDU.
He looks at the stage profile.
He takes the defualt equipment.
He can't be bothered with tactics, so just pushes next.
Who won?
And time for the next day.
If it's installed correctly, then you shouldn't have any problems. All I can say, is go back, double-check everything, and you should be fine. |

i have not problems with the first stage of tour down under, eguipment, all works fine... but many logos are pink and only the second stage crashes.... i have not testet simulate.... this must works with 3d.... works the second stage, works all other too... |

ok... now all the logos correktly after install with the new installer.... but the second stage crashes too... |

I have the same problem like Thunder and Emy. Jan 21 is a crash day. My team does nat appears in the Tour Down Under. |

So, we have many poeple with this crash at the second stage of tour down under.... here is my savegame, please checking this.... the stages crashes but in singleplayer too... also carreer and singleplayer... other players dont ride the tour down under, and this crashes.. why? i cant understand this... i´m sure, this is a great database... but with this problems, a little bad for us....
