It's a tradition to keep it a secret untill the moment arrives. But's it's almost always a sportsman (only exception I can remember is when crownprince Haakon of Norway skijumped down a hill during the 1994 olympics to light the fire), so I wouldn't count on it beeing the queen.

On a related note, it would have been cooler if the actual queen jumped in a parachute. Shure, there is a 50% chanche she would pass away in the atempt, but hey, that's showbiss.

I tend to think the opening cermonies are boring (for example in Beijing) but this ones has acctually been alot of fun
