I exaggerate to clarify. Makes perfect sense my friend. Lets put things in context.

Oleg, when are you going to release the DB?

You deleted a comment suggesting, "playing a Mapei season instead of adding 1000 rider photos."
my response was based on the notion of "Over promise and under deliver". You've set people up for disappointment, by suggesting repeatedly through this thread, that you'd be done by May. Well mate, its June 7th!!!! and I dont even see a semblance of an apology to members here, for your failure to deliver an end product.

You know he does this for free right?

I really need to play a career to keep me motivated, but Jeez Louise deliver an end product? I ain't no game publisher, I'm just a bloke that makes databases in my free time, so if that time is unforeseenly limited, yes, a release date that I was aiming for will be delayed.
Also I'm depending on others, for example my jersey skills aren't that good, so I rarely make them. But lets make a deal, since you are a demanding and serious customer/contributor of the A.S.O.DB; which I truly appreciate!
@you or any other jerseymaker, but most of them aren't that active right now; give me 2 jerseys and you will have your DB!
Too bad i cant make jerseys, i would do these in a minute than,to have the database ready
I am sad too, that release was delayed lot, but i understand it completly and i really appreciate what you are doing for us in your free time.

I can't really be bothered to argue with you, but on the other hand, it's so wrong in so many levels.
1. Oleg is doing this for free, in his free-time, for non-selfish reasons. If he doesn't want or can't release his project, that's his decision and doesn't make anyone "worthy" of an apology. That's just crazy talk.
2. Also, a saying: He who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones. I remember several game projects by you announced more than two years ago, set to be released the same year they were announced. Where can I buy them? Oh right, they turned out to be nothing but PR-talk, as expected.
You clearly need to learn either respect or to stay silent when you've nothing useful to say.

Let's face the facts, Ozzie.
1. You want Oleg to apologize for delaying a project he's doing for free and for the commun Eity, because it's not released on the day he said it would be.
2. I said you had promised to release several games several years ago, yet that hasn't been done. Are you denying that claim?
I don't remember all your nonsense projects in details, but I do remember a certain "Elite Cyclist" set to be released for PC, Playstation, XBOX and Wii "start 2010". We shouldn't forget Extreme Downhill either. Not to forget the website launchings that have been postponed an unbelievable amount of times.
Virtual Velodrome? I don't remember your first release date, but Google found this: "This service will operate on a part time basis for the remainder of 2011, but from January, post release of our first title, Virtual Velodrome" - so January 2012 at the latest. Yet all you have are pictures made in Photoshop.
My point is that you can't blame Oleg for missing one deadline for a project he's doing in his free time when you yourself have delayed pretty much everything you've talked about for the past two-three years. Add to this that these are actual projects that you want people to pay money for and where I suppose you have responsibility in terms of delivering to your partners - and if not for them, at least for the "fans" who have been waiting for these projects. It's extremely hypocritical.
Lastly, I wouldn't mind getting some competition to Cyanide and Pro Cycling Manager - not at all, and I never said anything in this regard. I merely pointed out that you have failed to deliver over and over and over and over again, thus it's funny that you blame others for doing the same thing for less "important" projects.

You really dont read nor understand business do you??? And obviously from your remarks, you clearly dont understand 3D model rendering, as opposed to Photoshop images.
I was stirring Oleg about his DB release. The only thing you got right, is the fact that its not that significant.
Ive clearly explained why so many delays. Elite Cyclist is still a project, but on the back burner. Sorry, I didnt have a spare million to spend on the production, nor the resources of 6 other former members of a game company to utilise. Ive done this on my own and Ive bankrolled the entire project. $100,000 USD and counting.
Ive never been satisfied with the website. The first release was good, but needed added features. We entrusted its redevelopment to Freelancers and it was ruined. So, since last year, its been redone twice. Even today. its being updated. Version 4 , will hopefully be up and running by mid - late July.
VV is the first title because its manageable from many respects. Either way, Im not explaining this any further, because you clearly dont understand the background and I dont want to waste any more energy on you. I have a huge 6 months ahead...
Make of this what you will.....
