And 1:0 for Spain, of course Villa. They will not win any match without him
Yeah, but it was very suspicious. Can't e certain but it looked offside.

The goal did look offside to me. But we haven't seen a clear replay yet (probably because of the FIFA )

Usually my comment to every World Cup or CL refereeing decision is just "Economical imperatives: The bigger teams must go through, no matter what".
But in this case, Spain is the team who can complain about the referee.

Why should Spain complain? A deciding goal that was probably offside, a weird red card.
Funny, when our commentators saw the red card given. They first shouted idiot etc and said "go, leave the field now". Then the replay was shown and they went totally quiet for quite a while |

Costa acted for the first time as a VCF player. Out of 11 Spanish players, who did he hit? A Villarreal player, of course. Well done Costa, I see you learn fast. |

Goal was offside, but only just.
But offside is offside.

You're kidding right????
Offside winning goal and Ronaldo got mugged all day and couldn't buy a free kick to save his life. |

Well the trouble when you play defensive football and you lose one-nil you are out having never tried.
The goal was slightly offside, but you keep playing defensively you are going to get caught by a marginal decision at some stage.
Not sure about the sending off either, not something that effected the game.
More of the same for Spain in the next round against Paraguay. |

Yes, it was offside.
Very, very just though. But it's better to end the discussion. Boobs > football. |
