I honestly did not think I would have this much trouble. I can not find anything. Does anybody have any more links / advice that I might be able to understand here.

If you want to run new games like PCM 2012 on max setting you need at least $700 dollar. EXCLUDING things like a monitor, keyboard, mouse and extra's like DVD burner...

For $500, you can get a good pc, but with video cards of 1/2 years ago, seriously worse processor and the bare minimum for cooling. Which can never end up well.

I payed €800 (about $900/950 dollar with the conversion rate atm) 2,5 years ago for my current pc. And I'm very happy I did because it's still pretty good. Not good enough for ultra settings anymore, but still decent

I may just give up here, I just don't know what to search for... would this do the trick?

You can build something passable for less than 1200 but 500 isn't going to build a machine that can run many games; certainly not PCM 12 at high settings. Likely not even medium. In your parts list the CPU and especially memory and video card are lacking. If 500 is your limit you might want to rethink. Sad
It was eleven more than necessary.
