Do you think I should involve doping in my story?

Nice to see a fellow Swede being a bit active around here. Previously it's been mostly myself and marc.
Looking forward to see what you can do with this team. Good luck!
For your question, I assume you mean that you'll remove riders from their teams if they test positive irl? Or will you just "catch" some in game dopers? Either way, I think it's a good idea.

Yeah, go Sweden!
I will take all the PT teams and the best CT teams and then via Random.org choose a team. I will write down all the riders and randomize. The rider who is "doped" will I raise their fitness to a bit over 100 and then remove them from their team for two years when they get caught. So it can be every rider from Wiggins to Engoulvent. Please tell me if it can be a better way to do it!

Okay... I don't know what had happend but when I opened my screenshot-folder I didn't found any picture!? But when I returned to the game and took a pic of todays map it was working.. To bad because it was a great stage for us.
Tour Down Under stage 5

Race preview
We have some goals for todays stage. Win the mountain sprint with Gustav Larsson so he can win the KoM jersey and have a rider who is top 15. My guess for todays stage will be Cunego.
Race
As I said, no pictures unfortunately.
It took 50km before the first "real" attack came. It was David Veilleux who attacked with Phinney and Bruseghin on his wheel! It was only 10km to the intermediate sprint who Phinney won in front of Veilleux and Bruseghin. That means Phinney is in virtual lead of the sprint classification!
At the next intermediate sprint with 48km to go did Bruseghin cross the line first with Phinney in second and Veilleux in third. They had a gap of 1'17 to the chasers in Vantomme and Burghardt. They had 3'28 to the peloton.
With 34km to go did Larsson attack from the peloton. When he attacked he had 1'49 up to the front group. The peloton catch Larsson and Bruseghin who was the last man from the breakaway with 100m to go to the summit. But Larsson hanged in and took the first place and also the KoM-jersey!
That means, two leader jersey for us tomorrow! But the pace had been so high so none of our riders had any energy left.
With 2.5km to the finishing line did Costa, Kiserlovski, Cunego and Leipheimer attack. But Kiserlovski was just to strong. He took his second victory here in Australia and it was well deserved.
Full result:
GC:
Point classification:
Mountain classification:
My words - Congratulations to Larsson and Phinney who took a jersey, brilliant. Kiserlovski is like a monster. He's unstoppable right now. We do have two riders in top15 in the GC and that's good so I'm happy!

I'm sorry I have PNG pics again but do you know a fast way to convert them to JPG?
Tour Down Under stage 5

Race preview
It's a very short and a flat stage so I think it will come down to a mass sprint. We hope that Swift can finish TDU in a good way to make a top10 place for today stage. We will also do all we can to keep Phinneys sprint-jersey and Larssons KoM-jersey.
Race
The peloton wasn't happy today and didn't let any breakaway go in the beginning but at the first intermediate sprint Phinney and Larsson was in the first group. Wyss did an amazing sprint and won it in front of Phinney.

First intermediate sprint
At the mountain sprint 10km later was Bol the fastest one. Larsson did a good job and was in fourth place.

First mountain sprint
But just 5km after the summit did the peloton catch all the breakaway riders without Wyss and Bol who had attacked.
At the second intermediate sprint for today was Wyss, once again the fastest man.
Second intermediate sprint
With 30km to go did Rast attack with Hayman, Tosatto and Boeckmans on his wheel. But the peloton was riding fast and they never had a gap of more than 50' seconds.

At the second mountain sprint for today was Tosatto the first man.
Second mountain sprint
With 12km to go were they catch by the peloton. We were in a great position.

Oh no! With 5km to go had Swift lost Fenns wheel and he was stuck behind a dropping Lotto rider. So unlucky..

With 2km(?!) to go did Farrar launch his sprint with Goss on his wheel! Swift had advanced some places but it had cost a lot of energy.

Under the 1km banner were Greipel in the lead in front of Chavanel and Goss. Swift was in 12th place but he had some power left, can he make it top10?

Goss wins! A fantastic sprint by the Aussie and Chavanel was a huge surprise in second place.
Oh man, look at Swift! He's done a fantastic last km and he's making it top5 for today stage! What a fantastic performance.

Kiserlovski wins the first stage race of the season!

Awesome performance by Phinney who wins the sprint jersey!

Larsson did defend his KoM-jersey in a excellent way!

Matthews did win the youth ranking with Swift, Kennaugh and Phinney in top10!

Full result
GC
My words - This was a great TDU for us! We had three riders in top20 in the GC. Phinney wins the sprint classification and Larsson the mountain classification! Marbelous. Magnificent! Swift fifth place on the last stage is also a great result. I can't be more satisfied. Tonight were going to have a small party and tomorrow starts the Tour de San Luis! See you there!

Tour de San Luis is here! With one ITT and some hilly stages will Tony Martin be our captain for this race. On the flat stages we have Ben Swift who can make some top3 places I think. Our full team:

Tour de San Luis stage 1

Race preview
A flat stage. The best sprinters is Swift, Bole, Favilli and Boivin so we have some great chances to take at least one sprint victory. Today we will take control over the peloton and take it down to a sprint.
Race
It took 35km for a breakaway to create a big gap to the peloton. The breakaway were consisted of ten riders.

Breakaway
Today it was only one mountain sprint. It was won by Andriato.
Mountain sprint
With 90km remaining the breakaway had a gap of 7'10. We decided to put Larsson, Fenn and Kennaugh to the front of the peloton.

At the first intermediate sprint Gruzdev was the fastest with Lobato in second.
First intermediate sprint
With 50km to the finish had the breakaway a gap of 4'10, so we put up the pace a bit. We didn't want to take any risks today.

At the second intermediate sprint was Moreno the fastest man.
Second intermediate sprint
With 10km remaining had we formed our train and Larsson set up a high pace in the front. The breakaway had a gap of 50' seconds.

With 5km to go were the last breakaway riders catch. Larsson was still in the front(!) and riding in a high pace.

With 3km left had Larssons energy run out. Martin took over and thanks to Larssons great performance did we have many guys left.

With 2.5km left did Grega Bole begin his sprint! Isn't it a bit to early?Unfortunately didn't Martin and Phinney have their best legs today and we were losing positions.

With 800m to go it didn't look good. A tired Dumoulin in fourth place and Swift in seventh place. No win for us today..

Or can Swift do it? With 500m left has he picked up a very fast pace and he's closing in on Favilli and Boivin really fast. Is it fast enough?

Oh yes it is! Such an awesome 800 last meters he done. I'm out of my words. Our first stage victory ever!

Swift takes also the leaders jersey of course!

Full result:
My words - Oh my god. What a fantastic stage for us! Swift wins the stage and Dumoulin finish in eighth place! Everybody in the team should be really proud, tomorrow there's an hilly stage so it will be hard for Ben to keep the leaders jersey but he will do his best.

Looking good so far.
I can just recommend you to remove the circles and names around the riders before you snap a screenshot.
In case you don't know the controls, it's Tab and Ä.

You'll have to take them during the race, not in the replay.

Tour de San Luis stage 2

Full startlist
Not exiting if you click
Race preview
This will be a very hard stage. With riders like Kreuziger and Ulissi participating we'll have to fight hard to get a good result. Our goal for today is to have one rider in the top3. We think Martin has the best chances so we will be riding for him.
Race
Today breakaway did compose of four riders.

Breakaway
With 94km to go had the breakaway a lead of 8'30 so we decided to put Phinney up to the front.

With 63km remaining was the gap down to 3'30 so we took Phinney down to the back of the field to pick up some water. When he came back, 13km later was the gap to the first group 6'00!? And Rudaskov had attacked and had a gap of 2'14 to the peloton.

We put Phinney to the front again to push hard. But with 18km remaining was Phinney out of gas. So we put Kennaugh and Cummings to the front.
18km remaining -
Rudaskov 1'44
Peloton 2'34

With 4,7km to the finish was Rudaskov back in the peloton who only was 50' behind the leading group.

With 3,5km left was Kennaugh really tired and couldn't follow Cummings wheel anymore when they catch the breakaway. Cummings got a gap down to the peloton.

With 3km remaining did Larsson go to the front and put up an incredible high pace and nobody were able to follow the Swede.

With 2,5km to go did Huzarski attack with Kreuziger on his wheel.
2,5km remaining -
Larsson 16'
Group Kreuziger 35'

With 1,9km left had Larsson catch up with Cummings. Behind them had Amador pull up to Kreuziger and Huzarski.
1,9km remaining -
Group Kreuziger 32'
Group Martin 48'

With 1,5km remaining did Cummings begin his sprint with Larsson on his wheel, this was looking really good because Tony Martin was in the second group together with Dumoulin.

With 0,9km left did Larsson pass and distance Cummings.
The second group were only 28' behind.

Behind them did Martin sprint very well, can we make it three!?

Larsson wins! A splendid finish from the TT-specialist who takes his first victory of the season.

Cummings takes second place.. And yes! Martin makes it a triple. What a show!
Dumoulin did also a good finish and he's crossing the line i seventh place.

Larsson takes the overall lead in front of Cummings and Martin!

Full result
My words - This was soooo much better then I could dream about. We made a triple! Fantastic race by everybody, Swift finishing in top20 too! I miss words..
Well, this was almost to easy. The opponents here is to weak. Do you think I should simulate this "easier" races or continue to win them by my self? |
