Also, while browsing the CQRanking Transfer Overview, they link Gustav Larsson's name to Vacansoleil... any confirmation about this?
Rest in Peace Wouter Weylandt and Xavi Tondo

Erik Zabel joins Team Katusha. He will have a similar role as in HTC.
So maybe riders like Galimzyanov can take profit from this situation.
Also they are in negotiations with a big rider. Actually I can`t think on anybody else than Menchov. Would be nice to see him in WT again.

I thought Cipollini was the mentor of Galimzyanov?

I forgot this one.
Not sure if Cippolini will stay there. This would surely be a great situation for the sprinters at Katusha having two of the best ever sprinters as "teachers",

Jack Bauer appears not to have been re-signed by Endura, anyone heard about where he might be heading? |

That's probably Freire, quoting Cyclingnews: "The Spaniard’s manager, his brother Antonio, has admitted that he has been negotiating with new Katusha team boss Hans-Michael Holczer in Paris in recent days, although he added that he is still talking to other teams, including Lotto and Geox." |

Freire have had his best time. He didnt win any race of significant importance. It still is the best chaos sprinter. But sprinting have changed since the coming of trains. Or TGV if you are according to Cavtrain. I hop he will do great with Katusha but i fear the worse. |

Rapha Condor Sharp are hoping to become a British version of the 'rider development' teams such as An Post and Rabobank Continental. Obviously not straight away, but their target is to progress towards that - which can only be good news for British Cycling.
New signings are:
Richard Handley (from Raleigh), Luke Grivell-Mellor, Oliver Rossi, and Tim Kennaugh (brother of Peter) - GBR
Richard Lang and Ben Grenda - AUS
Christopher Jennings - RSA

Sprint trains have been around since Van Looy's Red Guard in the 1950s, and modern sprint trains have been around since Jean Paul Van Poppel's Superconfex squad of the 1980s.
Freire was a fantastic sprinter, with or without organized sprint trains. He's past his time, but he's not as bad as his results this season showed. He was recovering from surgery most of the time. Just last year he won San Remo and Paris-Tours.
He'll have a good last season before retiring (or deciding to continue again)

Apparently, Katusha are making a last desperate attempt before the transfer deadline to sign Cancellara.
