Bongiorno rested today to have good sprints in the next stages!!!

Of course it could have been even better on GC (Bongiorno should bring M Chacon to a better place in the last stage to get the some time bonuses , Chacon could have sprinted in stage 8 and get some bonuses as well... and so on)... but this stage race was our best result by far!!!! Very happy!
I was very upset with M Chacon during this season, since he has a high salary and was not showing good results at all... but this is because Bongiorno was doing all the sprints...
After Chacon became our leader in this race, he showed that he can sprint as well.. (I thought during season scheduling that putting Bongiorno and Chacon together, one would work for the other... but I was wrong)
Just a question... I was the only one that noticed that the last stage finished before the real finish line ?!?!?!?! Bongiorno should be stage winner !!! kkkk

What an amazing battle for the point jersey here! Congrats to Alstorm, Haddou earned it.
Also nice reporting mb. You kept me interested in a pan-flat 11 stage race.

Luck saved our tour at least a bit in the last stage. I feel sorry for the riders droped from top 10 overall, but Grychenko moved in there thanks to that, and team competition is a nice bonus (it is mentioned in the report that we have won it, but the results are different, i am not sure how it is calculated right).
Congrats to the succesful teams and especially to Haddou, he is a real sprint star for Alstrom
Looking forward to the more hilly terrain now...
Edit:Btw. we failed our win goal, but that was obvius after the first hilly stage, where the major gaps were not created and Grychenko did not mind to attack.

Yeah, it's irritating, I didn't realise until they all stopped sprinting. I'm not sure if you would have won in another 100m, but it would have been close.
Avin, sorry the report should have stated that Gazprom won the team competition, that was a typo by me.

Rankings update
With 11 stages and the majority of them being flat the sprinters had a real battleground in Morocco. For once the breakaways were controlled in the main leading to CDiv2 leader Saïd Haddou taking a large points haul and moving to the top of the standings.
Hill allergic Daniel Thorsen moves to third showing that he can be useful on the road. Teammate Angel Vicioso moved up to 11th.
It was also a pretty good race for Adecco with the likes of Andreas Dietziker and Tigran Korkotyan moving into the top twenty. Race winner Lukasz Bodnar is just outside the top twenty.

Teams
Points were spread around a bit, though four teams scored over 150 points making it a strong race for them. Sprinter squads Alstorm, Samsung Mol and Adecco all did well as did Cativen.
Spare a thought for Eurovision, Pivovarna Lasko and Dyson who all scored less than 30 points here!

Haddou should have the individual ranking pretty much wrapped up, as he pretty much deserves.

I expected a scarce amount of point here, sending a weakish team basically no support to Lobato and Gérard being clearly one level below Haddou, Thorsen et al, but that crash... :/

Haddou is the real star of the division
Expected slide for Metinvest, only goal now is to finish the season in top 10. This will be hard with several teams close behind. I hope for another surprise from Van Niekerk and need some kind of swan song from Grychenko.
Congrats to Alstorm, Samsung Mol, Adecco and Cativen for great point haul.

Meh, looking at Haddou sucess shows our failure in the transfers window.... Still we got a lot of nice points here and looking good in the rankings.

How did you fail in the transfer window? You are leading the rankings by a huge margin.

Well, lets analyse this race...
We were not overly competetive (as usual) but klimov chernetsky and valinin showed some good results... Good, well there are 3 or 4 riders are can keep for next season in my team...
Klimovs 7th in GC is probably a bit weak, considering that we had masciarelli and him... Especially Masciarelli is really disappointing me this season. And its not an understatement that even SAMAI SAMAI was a better signing than masciarelli, since he at least scored points for our team at the early stages of the season...
To the team Classification: Valinin, Chernetsky and Klimov are the main contributers again. Well done. Masciarelli again barel visible didnt contribute much... well lets say that i leave Morocco with a laughing and a crying eye...
