In my opinion it`s not worth playing PCM 12 without a proper Database. I´m still playing PCM 10 and will start playing PCM 11 with the release of the Database v2.
CrueTrue stats will be updated to the release day of the v2 or the will stay the same as in the public version?
Beacause in my opinion some riders still need a stat update.
They have been considerably updated.

It's too bad I can't set an alert to warn me of its release, I'm checking here much more often than is healthy! |

That was just for the time trial. I don't think the jersey changed, just that they were wearing a suit over the top or something.
Feel free to PM me if interested in any graphics work. |

It's like those swimming suits, made out of a special material which gave it a grey look.

I thought it looked grey because it was stretched so tightly over the body |

Well, we're not going to test it, so it's not a matter of bugs as much as it's a matter of waiting for the jerseys (Saxo, Garmin and Orica). They have now been made, so now it's just a matter of me finding some time to release it
Just know that even though PCM 12 is released, there are at least some of us eagerly waiting for it!
Just to clarify, I'm not withholding the release, because I'm too lazy to spend 1-2 hours on the project or anything in that regard.
At the moment, I'm working more than nine hours a day (thanks to the Tour) and I have about 4 hours of travelling to and from work, so needless to say, it's hard to justify another 1-2 hours of computer use when I finally get home
But on the other hand, I understand there's some people still waiting for this and unlike me actually have time to play the game I don't want to make more promises, but I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

If that's what my lessage seemed to imply, I'm sorry because that's clearly not what I meant! But I do indeed have a week off from work, so hopefully I'll be able to use some of that time to get my career under way.
But as I said earlier, I refer it to be done right rather than quickly, and just the fact at you're putting so much work into a project that you give out for free is worthy of praise.
Out of curiosity, what's your job, that the Tour makes you work more hours? |

Don't be sorry, just wanted to clarify
I'm a journalist (unfortunately not stationed in France this summer, though), so needless to say, there's plenty of stuff to do. It's fun, though
On the 'praising' part, most credit should go to people like Luigi, Alakagom and everyone else who've been doing the hard work. While I'm busy with work, I'm only taking care of the releasing part of the DB.

Don't rush it if it means you lose a social life/free time
If you need a hand with doing anything to release it I would be happy to help |

That's cool to have a job that pertains to your hobby, makes it more enjoyable to go to work! |

CrueTrue, do you think it will be out today? You can take all the time you want, but I'm currently holding out from playing because I'm waiting for the release to get updated stats. But if it's not coming soon, I might as well start with the beta version.
I really don't mean to put pressure on you, it's just that I'd like to know whether I should wait or not |

I saw this mentioned somewhere but I can't find it. WHen I run the installer, the error "Checksum mismatch. The instillation is corrupt etc.." then the error "Couldn't read TOC. Aborting."
What is wrong here?
Feel free to PM me if interested in any graphics work. |

Corrupted download. Download it again and consider using a download manager

I've downloaded it, copied it to my main PCM folder and run the installation. When I tried it in game, V2 wasn't available by options/database. I thought I forgot to copy the .cdb file to my documents, but I can't find the file, not by pcm daily database backup. Do I have to look elsewhere or have I installed the DB wrong? |

Thanks CrueTrue for releasing it and thanks to all the team who made it possible!
@DavydeFauw, I did not put it in the game folder before launching the installation, I don't know if this might have caused a problem? What I usually do is install it somewhere else (desktop or specific folder where you're sure you'll find it) and then move the folders to the install folder. Might be worth a shot! |
