But, i will not trust too much because BMC team has confirmed Burghardt and in the TdF page its in the list of reserves.
TdF list of riders
Also Barredo is listed for Rabobank, while Ten Dam is nowhere. So yeah, I guess we can't trust that list too much.

Don't worry, bush. Pate will destroy Contador and Andy in the Vuelta.

Uhhh, sorry but for Sky priority order in Vulta might be this
Froome ---> Uran ---> Henao ---> Nordhaug --> and finally Pate He'll have tough fight to become a leader there
I am not sure if Henao will go, doing 2 GT's in his first year might be too much too ask.

They'll all collapse trying to follow his wheel. Leader or not, he'll win.

That's bye bye to Danielson's top 10 then. Hesjedal only just won the Giro, even in Giro shape he wouldn't even be able to get top 8 in the Tour.

He's better than Danielson.
I think they should work for Martin though. Because Ryder is coming off the Giro and dont think he will have the legs to do this, Giro and Olympics.

Tom Danielson is better than Ryder (in this situation), they should work for him and it is absurd for them not to. Does Garmin really think that Hesjedal, after already riding a GT, can keep the same form for the Tour (it will need to be even better with the stiffer competition)? If Contador can't do it, I don't think that Ryder can peak for 3 months either. I don't know how Garmin could put more faith in that than a fresh Danielson who has prepared specifically for the Tour.
But no I'm not just being a Danny Pate fan boy back there. I'm frustrated to see one of the best riders in the sport getting snubbed continually (Giro, Olympics), and I would probably be just as angry if it were Horner/Cancellara/Gesink/Valverde/Sanchez/Danielson getting left out, because these are the guys that make the sport interesting. Note that I'm not saying that he is as good as them, but Danny is one of the main riders that you expect to see, as we saw in the Tour last year when he was the engine on the front for the entire race.
And no, I never suggested that he could win the Vuelta, but if Sky doesn't bring him there then I will lose all faith in Brailsford. It would be nice to see Danny do something special in Worlds, just to show them what they are missing.

Vaughters hiding his real leader like every other year?
EDIT: Then somehow it'll turn out to be someone weird like Vansummeren and he'll get a top 10

I know you weren't. I was just kidding around a bit.
I'd go for Martin as leader if I was Vaughters. He showed what a great climber he is in the Vuelta last year. He just needs to improve his recuperation a bit, to last over three weeks. This would be a good opportunity to find out.

Pate's not riding the Tour because he has more important things to do. Currently he is eradicating poverty, curing cancer and giving Chuck Norris a right good hiding.

I don't think there's a link between how long you can peak and how strong you are, but maybe I'm wrong ?
