Hill and endurace, but flat too if the race has long flat sections, in order to preserve energy. And you need to manage that races more carefully than a stage. Don't put your guys at the front unless necessary, because sometimes they are against the wind and they lose some energy, needed at the end of the race. And, on the other hand, the classics in PCM10 aren't very good. Too many bunch sprints because if you attack in a very steep climb you don't gain too much over the peloton and your rider get exhausted, so many times it is better to preserve energy, wait for the sprint and take advantage of your more rested rider. Not that funny, but that's the way it is.

if its a uphill finish you need to be at the front with 1.5km to go, as mentioned above the sprint bug means postioins don't change much once all riders are sprinting.
