hi all its my bday today and i got this game from my girlfriend.
she knows how much i love cycling and i played 08 for ages and all i want to do is play this today!
but i have a problem!
i want to play this game on my plasma but i can only display resolutions of 1280x720 (720p) or 1920x1080 (1080p) in fullscreen mode.
i cannot currently get into the game because my display can not display the in game resolution, i tried the game in windowed mode and it doesn't have an option to display 1280x720 or 1920x1080 at all
is there a way to change the resolution out of game thru a settings file or thru a force command on the shortcut of the game?
Now, PCM is a bit of a dick when it comes to resolutions. It believe the max it can put out is 1680x1050 (16:10 ratio), so i believe you are out of luck sadly. But since both 720 and 1080p work, it at least should work with other 16:9 ratio resolutions. If you could force the TV into 1080p while running a slightly lower resolution, the quality might not be perfect, but at least it would run.
But im still looking into this so hang on or something...
At what point was this a good idea?

thanks for the suggestion, i found the solution when i actually started a game in windowed mode and then PCM created the folder for the game in my documents.
in my documents there are files in the config folder.
i opened the grapicsconfig.xml and options.xml files with notepad and i changed the display resoution in there. i can now play in 720p or 1080p or whatever other resolution i want.
