Finally switching to a "new" PCM-version (from PCM1 to PCM2...) I decided to open my DB project for everyone 
fodDB 2011
What's done:
Teams
(*)For now 150 teams in the database (maybe more to be added)
(*)Objectives for all teams corrected
(*)Scouting zones for all teams corrected
(*)Budgets, mail and managers for all teams corrected
(*)Minijerseys for all teams
(*)Jerseys for most teams
Teams already in the DB:
Cyclists
(*)More than 2.500 cyclists in the database
(*)Many pictures available (not all yet)
(*)Corrected stats
(*)177 real riders as scoutable talents (more to come...)
Races
(*)500 races with nearly 1.300 stages
(*)2011 calender
(*)World Tour, 2.HC, 1.HC, 2.1, 1.1, 2.2, 1.2, NE, WC, NC, Criteriums
(*)Correct participation lists (where available)
Races in the DB so far:
More features
(*)New scouting system: 77 scouting zones, divided by continents
(*)About 600 co-sponsors (more to come)
(*)Start year: 2011
(*)New rankings (World Tour, Continental Tour, CQ-ranking)
What's left to do?
(*)Database testing and optimizing (Race profiles, team budgets, rider's stats, bugs...)
(*)Stagemaking (Updating stages of "big" races for 2011)
(*)Graphics (Jerseys, accessories, rider pictures, ...)
Hope that some of you join the project! Just PM me or give a quick reply in this thread on what of the above you could help with.
Should state here that not all in this database was done by myself. Big, big thanks goes out to Plakker and the PPDB community for the permission to "recycle" some of the old PPDB Giant projects!
Download link will be available in about 2 or 3 weeks, as testing goes on and I hope to "recruit" some new team members to join me If not, I'll do my best to finish at least a "playable" career-mode-version on my own. |

Wow, that's really impressive, a 2011 DB for PCM 06 and it looks great. Big amount of teams and riders, big amount of races... are all those races with real profiles or are you using a stage more than once?
Anyway, great work. Good luck for finishing the project.

No new profiles yet but it seems that we can get some within the next days. There's a nice team growing already that develops this project, so I hope we can present a nice DB in a few weeks. |

UPDATE:
Project is still in test phase. There are still graphics and stage profiles to be done, but up to now it looks nice.
Expanded to 162 teams and over 550 races. Currently testing stats matrix and teams behaviour for upcoming seasons.
Maybe some more races/teams from South America and/or Africa to be added before the release. |

Will be it compatible with Czech edition of game? If I install every DB from pcmdaily Czech Language disapear...

The language settings (formated strings and such) are all kept within the database. Btw, as far as I rememeber I even didn't touch any of those settings except German and English ones. But most of the newly added stuff (such as country names, scouting areas, ...) will be shown in English for all other language settings. So there should be no need to backup anything. |

Hello , first of all - really great work.
I`m making 2011 db for pcm08 , but it won`t be so great as your , but as Polish team Legia-Felt you should add BDC Team , on Polish criteriums are dominating 3 teams - CCC , Bank BGZ and Team BDC , legia has great riders for the future , but BDC should be added to.

Thanks for the comment and suggestion, but unfortunately there's no spot left to add another team to the database. And we chose Legia because we always tried to give spots to UCI-registered teams first and just added club or national teams where really needed. |
