New career with patch 1.3.0.0., which database?

Hi there,
I want to start an new career, but don't know which database will do the trick with patch 1.3.0.0..
Which database are you running?

There are many you can use with 1.3.0.0
DBVNC 2012
PCM Frace DB V7
you could also wait for the next patch if you would like.

At this moment i think its PCM France DB V8... The Stats seem very good, but I think i did something wrong, as i can't see the equipment in the 3D race |

Pcm daily expansion pack works great for me with the 1.3 patch. So far the result are realistic..
When i install the new patch(when it is available). Will the changes take effect in my career? |

I 2nd that the PCM daily DB works perfectly fine with the new patch as well.
I don´t see anything in the new patch details that would lead me to think it would require a new career for the changes to take hold. It´s not many changes to begin with. |

Yeah? Does Pcm daily expansion pack work with 1.3 patch?
No errors or something like that?
I think PCM daily expansion pack is the best one, but i thought it doesn't work with 1.3 patch. |

Of course it works, but you might have to "fix" the local.cdb.

if you have pink flags because the local.cdb of the expansion pack has been replaced by the local.cdb of the patch, then download it again (first post in the exp. pack support thread), put it into the correct folder and make it read-only.
But this has been explained in detail in that thread, so go there if you have problems with that DB.

Lachi, If i start a new career with the pcm daily expansion pack for 1.2.0.0 and when the next pack will be available,i download it it will works ?

A career has nothing to do with downloading a DB.
You only have to download and install a new DB if you want to start a new career.

You don't have to install the full pack if you only want to enhance the existing career with variants.
Other new stuff in the pack like equipment will not work in your existing career.
But you could continue your career after installing a new pack.

of course that is often easier said then done as not everyone has equal amounts of free times over the course of the year (i guess a lot of posters here still go to school or University and now´s break-time)
specially when it seems like there really isn´t a lot wrong anymore and some of the things that are wrong have been wrong for so long (with no talk of fixing) that it won´t get fixed anyway.
As of now the game is stable, gameplay is propably as good as it will be and the career has no really serious problems left (that i´ve noticed in my current 4 season career at least) |
