I have built my own stages, and I know that this has been asked a million times, but I would like to know two things - how do I test it (by replacing a stage) and how do I add it, to create a stage? I tried finding it myself, but especially with the 2012 Daily Update installed, I'm getting confused with what's variants and what itsnt, and I'm afraid I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing. Thanks!

As you already said, replacing a stage is the easiest way to test it. If you want to see which stage corresponds to what, you can take a look in the DB. Normally the stages beginning with either a past year or a vx (x = number) are variants. Stages which begin the file name with 2012_ are the correct 2012 stages, and should all appear in the DB.
For adding the stage, you need to edit the DB (STA_stage for stage, STA_race for race). Here is a more detailed 'tutorial': http://pcmdaily.c...ost_472321
