Reallife Startlists Generator v1 - (2007) (ALL DBs!) - Tutorial
IMPORTANT! > Startlists are ONLY for single/custom races they DO NOT work in careers

This tool can automatically create (nearly) all reallife startlists for 2007 for any DB you like. Since i created all startlists for the PPDB 2007 i thought it would be usefull to make a converter that creates them for any DB you like. I will update the startlists regularly so you can play all upcoming races with any DB you like Wink.

What you need: (Installed autmatically if you're connected to the internet!)
- SQL Compact Edition
- .NET Framework 2.0

How it works:
- First you need to create a profile for your DB, you'll need to do this only ONCE (profile for Stanosbase 2.0 already included), after that, converting the startlists is done in seconds.

The profile is simply the process of matching the cyclists from the PPDB DB(wich the startlists are based off) with your DB. That way the startlists tool knows wich IDs from the PPDB to match with the IDs from the DB you are using. You need to do this for the Cyclists, Races and Teams.

Before starting the creation of a profile you'll need to know how and use the converters on the officialrelease.cdb of the DB you are using and want startlists for. Click 'Open Folder', use all converters in there on the officialrelease, go back to the program, click 'Recheck TXT Files'. When all files are found click OK (remember to give a name to the profile) and click OK.

Matching is pretty straightforward and most matches will be done for you autmatically, however there are times the program can't match it automatically with 100% certainty( for ex. when the Cyclist/Team/Race is in the PPDB but not in your DB or when local names are used, spelling mistakes etc. etc.)

The auto match function assigns a match level to the match wich you can see in the match column. Level 1 and 2 matches are 99,9% safe, only thing you have to keep in mind is when there are two cyclists with the exact same name (wich actually can happen since for ex. there are two Anders Lund in the DB). All levels above 2 you should check to be sure.

>Cyclists that are a good match but have different teams (for ex. Jaksche as freeagent or at Tinkoff) DO NOT POSE a problem since startlists can put any cyclist in any team.
>The Free Agents Team DOES NOT need a match
>Be aware of the fact that the PPDB holds many more cyclists/teams/races than most DBs so you can't expect to match and use all those in your DB.
>Use the Filter/Search options like -Filter by approximate name, filter by team, filter non-matched(those that not yet have been matched) etc etc. to easily and fast match the correct races/cyclists.
>Take your time to correctly and as completely as possible match all items. Since all not matched teams/cyclists/races can not be used as a startlist/in the startlists.
>Cyanide only allows Category 1 races and up to be used for custom tours so all lower races are useless to match
>Double click in the list below to assign it to the item you have selected in the list above, you can also use the box itself in the list above to select riders but this is not really fast, better to use the filters and list below.

Creating and using the startlists

>The Races where more the 20 Teams start will get an extra file with the 'EXTRA TEAMS' prefix since PCM can only handle max 20 teams. This way you can easily copy/paste other teams (usually the smallest or non-domestic teams) when you want to play with these.
>Select the profile for you DB and click OK.
>You'll get a list of races for wich a startlist is available, gray races are available but are either unmatched or not in the DB you are using, so they can't be used.
>All startlists AUTOMATICALLY GET THE RIGHT XML NAME, so DO NOT rename the files. Simlply copy them to you \Custom\Startlists\ folder in your PCM Root folder.
>Start the game, choose a stage (race), choose REALISTIC! and PCM will, if there is a startlist ask you is you want to use the XML startlist, click yes and all real-life cyclists and teams are selected
